She married William Allen Carson 1833-1902 on January 1, 1857, in Ohio County, Kentucky, she was his first wife. They had two children during their marriage Alonzo Brown Carson 1859-1864 and Martha Mary Emma Carson 1860-1926. She died as a young mother on March 6, 1861, in Beda, Ohio County, Kentucky, at the age of 22, and was buried in Hartford, Ohio County, Kentucky Kentucky.
