SHREVEPORT, LA – Services for Mr. Luther D. Miller, 89, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, February 19, 1994 at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Jim Daniel, pastor of Haynes Ave. Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

Mr. Miller died Friday, February 18, 1994 in Shreveport. He was a native of Shreveport and a retired Chief of Police for the City of Shreveport with 30 years service. Mr. Miller served in the Navy in World War II and was a member of the First Seventh Day Adventist Church of Shreveport, La.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Lee Miller of Shreveport, La.; two daughters, Ellen Leshe of Flanders, New Jersey, Sue Sigman of Houston, TX; one sister, Mrs. Donald Payne of College Dale, Tennessee; four brothers, Edwin Miller of LaMesa, California, Kenneth Miller and Ralph Miller of Shreveport, La. and Charles Miller of Pineville, La.; two grandchildren, Greg Leshe and Lyn Bews.

Pallbearers will be Charles Mitchell, Allen Miller, Andy Anderson, Ralph Hawkins, Roy Hawkins and Parker McInnis.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
