"Memories of My Precious Mother"

My mom was a precious woman. She had a heart unlike anyone I have ever known. She would give her last dime to help anyone in need. Mom was a hard worker. She worked in management most of her life. Mom loved to cook, and everyone loved to eat her food. Mom had the sweetest laugh. She had such a beautiful smile too. :) Mom loved going to eat Chinese food. She loved going to Walmart and looking at everything. Mom loved pretty things. She collected beautiful Crystal bowls, which I now cherish. Mom was a very private person and she kept most things to herself. I never heard my mother speak badly of anyone. Unless she had something good to say, she said nothing at all. Mom had such a beautiful heart. Mom left this world very unexpectedly. Her family loves and misses her every day. Her memory lives in all our lives, as we think of her and speak of her often. Mom left this world, but she will continue living in the hearts of all those who loved her.

Mom would smile her beautiful smile just knowing so many nice people take the time to visit her memorial and leave beautiful tokens for her each day. Thank you for remembering my precious Mom.

I thought that I would miss her
And never find my way.
And then I heard the angel say
"Shes with you every day."

I know your heart is hurting
The words we left, unsaid
I love you's left unspoken
Are spinning in your head.
The strength that I have carried
That served to make you whole
Remains to make you stronger
Within your grieving soul.

My Mom's favorite quote:

"God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
And wisdom to know the difference."

"You Never Said Goodbye"

You never said I'm leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knew why
A million times I needed you,
A million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died
In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place,
That no one could ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn't go alone
For part of me went with you,
The day God took you home.

If I could have a lifetime wish
A dream that would come true
I'd pray to God with all my heart
For yesterday and you
A thousand words can't bring you back
I know because I've tried
And neither will a million tears
I know because I've cried
You left behind my broken heart
And happy memories too
I never wanted memories
I only wanted you.

God gave us strength to bear it,
and courage to take the blow,
but what it meant to lose you
...no one will ever know.
