Oscar Franklin Williams, aged 73, of 1217 South 36th street, died at 12:25 o'clock this morning in his residence after four months' illness with Bright's disease aka nephritis or inflamation of the kidney. Today it is diagnosed as the autoimune disease Lupus.

Born in Oakland City, Indiana December 3, 1862. He came here 27 years ago from Missouri.

He married in Petersburg, Indiana in 1881 to Miss Elizabeth Anderson, who survives.

He leaves also six daughters and two sons

(3) Symantha "Mattie" - Mrs Clarence S Quier,
(4) Luella - Mrs Luella Ellis,
(5) Andrew "Jack",
(6) Edna - Mrs John I Foster,

(8) Lucinda - Mrs. Nicolas Kronewitter,
(9) Sarah - Mrs Thomas Martin,
Emily and an unknown child proceeded him in death.

35 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and two sisters. Mrs Elizabeth Hall, Holderfield of Arkansas and Lora Williams, Chandler, of Missouri.

The body will lie in the Losson B Hunt Mortuary from 7 o'clock this evening until the funeral there at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Rev Elmer Ward Cole DD, pastor of First Christian Church, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka, Indiana.

His mother was Julia Ann Jenkins, Williams, Hall, Hightower. His father was John Williams
