William Frank Carver was well known for his Wild West Show, his shooting skills and for his diving horse act. Buried next to his mother, Deborah Carver, and his sister, May Carver.Marksman and Showman. He was famous for his feats of marksmanship and became the acknowledged world champion rifle and pistol shot of his day. He was a companion of Wild Bill Hickok and at one time an associate of Buffalo Bill Cody in show business. He died August 31, 1927 in Sacramento, California and was buried in his home town of Winslow, Illinois at Rock Lily Cemetery.
