-- Philip R. Rodell FORT MILL -- Mr. Rodell, age 62, passed away Wednesday, March 30th, 2011 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. Born in Chicago, IL, he was a son of Robert G. and Mary F. Arends Rodell. Mr. Rodell was semi-retired from Morse Zehnter Associates of New York and Florida, a member of Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill, Knights of Columbus 4th degree and an Army Veteran who served in Korea. Survivors include his devoted wife: Un Cha Ho Rodell of Fort Mill; parents Robert G. and Mary F. Arends Rodell of Concord, NC; one son John S. Rodell and fiancee Heather McFalls of Charlotte; daughter Cathy Billetts and husband Angelo, Sr; of New York; sisters Joanne Einsmann and husband Francis of VA; Susan Rodell, Pamela K. Swift, Donna Newsome and husband Gregory, Karen White and husband Michael, all of North Carolina; Barbara Gries and husband Michael; Rita Roberts and husband George; and Rosemary Tucker and husband Gebhard all New York, and a number of grandchildren, and nieces and nephews and close family friend Roger Morse of New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 4th 2011 at Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel with Father John Giuliani C.O. officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Memorial Park in Pineville, NC with full military honors. The Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 Monday at the funeral home.
