Marie was the fourth of eight children born to William Dollase and his wife, Martha Tripke. She was funny and charming and enjoyed having fun. She married her husband, Bill Buchheit in 1942, and lived the majority of her married life with him in a lovely cottage on Lake La Belle in Oconomowoc, Wis. She enjoyed taking boat rides out on the lake and having her family to visit at her house. She also enjoyed taking trips to see her family and had a large collection of photos of all her many nieces and nephews and their children. In the later years of her life, she spent winters in Holmes Beach, Fla were she visited with her friend Penny, and entertained her family. She greatly missed by all who knew her.
