Mrs. Winnifred Lowder Eames, 68, of No. 6 Custer Court, died Friday night of a heart ailment.

Mrs. Eames was born Dec. 9, 1898, in Harrisville, Utah, a daughter of William H. and Ida Dabb Lowder.

She was reared and educated in Weber County and attended Weber College.

On Aug. 21, 1918, she was married to William Henry Eames in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The family resided in Harrisville and came to Ogden in 1919.

She was a member of the Mount Ogden LDS Ward and had been active in the Thirteenth Ward Relief Society and served on the welfare council for many years.

Surviving are her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Erma Young, Mrs. Mildred Wilson, both of Ogden; Mrs. Herbert E. (betty) Brown, Columbia, Mo.; Mrs. Marion H. (Carolyn) Albiston, Salt Lake City; 11 grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters: Collin W. Lowder, San Diego, Calif.; Claude L. Lowder, Yakima, Wash.; Gilbert E. Lowder, Miss Dorothy (Dott) Lowder, Mrs. Violet Crosby, all of Ogden.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Flowers Mortuary with Bishop James E. Hamilton of the Mount Ogden Ward officiating.

Friends may call at the chapel Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Aultorest Memorial Park. Ogden Standard Examiner, April 29, 1967
