Sharon was the daughter of Neil and the late Jeanette (Shirk) Boucher.

Sharon was born at Marion General Hospital on March 27, 1960. Sharon grew up in Sims, Indiana, where she met the love of her life, Ernie L. Brashear. Ernie and Sharon were married on June 4, 1977, at the Wesleyan church in Sims. Ernie and Sharon moved to Fort Wayne in 1991. Sharon was an Army wife for 20 years then went to work for Meijers on Illinois road for 14 years. Sharon started out as a cashier then went to being a Team Leader over the fashion department. Sharon loved lying out in the sun on the boat or lying in the tanning bed at home. She loved taking road trips on the Harley to festivals or just around the town. Most of all, she loved going to Beaver Dam Lake to Dave and Judy Brashear's (father and mother-in-law) lake cottage, where Judy and Sharon would go to rummage sales a lot of the times. She loved going to small town festivals and fishing, especially with a cane pole.

Survivors include husband, Ernie Brashear, Fort Wayne; son, Rocky (Laura) Brashear, Fort Wayne; daughter, Jenny (Lee) Quay, Fort Knox, KY; 9 grandchildren, Alisha, Brionna, Kayla, Katelynn, Shyann, Alexis, Sedrik, Tatum, Zander; twin sister, Karen (Billy) Stiddom, Adamsville, TN; brother, Gerald (Barb) Boucher, Elwood; brother, Jerry Boucher; sister, Kim (Orrin) Fryer, Sterling, CO; sister, Cindy (Phil) Thrash, Muncie; father, Neil Boucher, Sims.

Sharon was preceded in death by mother, Jeanette Boucher and sister, Kathy Heacock.
