Elwood Hatch

Elwood M. Hatch, 67, Tyrone, RD 1 died yesterday evening, Sunday Jan 18, 1987 at the Altoona Hospital.

He was born March 21, 1919 in Williamsburg,
the son of Mark L. and Catherine (Kipe) Hatch.
He was united in Marriage to Phyllis J. McManamy on July, 1937, in Sinking Valley, His wife survives.

Mr. Hatch is survived by his children:

He also leaves 21 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He is also survived by five sisters:

Two daughters, two grandchildren, Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death

Mr. Hatch was of the Protestant faith.
A carpenter by trade, he served in the US Army as a sergeant.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday Jan 21 from the Robert I Grove Funeral Home Alexandria, the Rev John C. Dean, the Rev George "Buddy" Baird and Rev Robert G. Maurer officiating. Interment will be made in the Sparr Cemetery, Williamsburg.

There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Society.
