Therra Haley Alexander of Potlatch died Sunday morning, November 21, 2010 at Gritman Medical Center from injuries received in an auto accident. She was 22.



Therra was born February 23, 1988 at Ellensburg, WA to Thomas and Evelyn Zamora Alexander. The family moved to Potlatch in 1992 where Therra attended school. Therra was active in basketball, volleyball and track all through her school years. Therra was especially passionate about basketball. She helped coach junior high basketball for a time after her graduation from Potlatch High School in 2006. She also participated in hoop-fest in Spokane for several years.



Therra attended North Idaho College and the University of Idaho. She worked currently as a receptionist at the Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center in Moscow.



Therra is survived by her parents, Tom and Evelyn Alexander of Potlatch, her sisters, Whitney Christine Alexander of Moscow and Megan Fawn Alexander of Potlatch. Her grandparents are Benjamin and Leslie Zamora of Johnson, WA and Susan Trail of Ellensburg, WA. Therra also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Malcolm Alexander and step-grandfather, Ellis Flaaen.



The graveside service will be held at 11: 00 A.M. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the Potlatch City Cemetery for those who wish to attend. A memorial service will follow at the Potlatch High School at 1:00 P.M. with a potluck following.

Memorials are suggested to the Potlatch High School Girls Basketball Program.
