Canadice, N. Y. - Mrs. Rebecca Sparks departed this life at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Burch, on Friday morning, March 9th, aged ninety two years and eight months. The deceased had arrived at ripe old age, and had enjoyed comfortable health until the last year. For some time she had been nearly unconscious and finally fell asleep to wake no more. Mrs. Sparks was well-known here, having lived with her daughter sixteen years, and none knew her but to respect and love her. In early life, she manifested an interest in Christ and has striven to live an humble and consistent christian ever since. The funeral was attended by a large concourse of people on Sunday last. Rev.
