Kathleen E. Cole, 66, of Reading, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Hillsdale Community Health Center. She was born February 2, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio to Rudolph and Cleta (Dowe) Lewinski. She was married August 16, 1964 to Duane K. Cole and he survives.
Kathleen was a former employee of Bailey Plastics in Hillsdale, Wagner Products in Reading and the Hi-Ho Restaurant. She loved and was devoted to her grandchildren.
Surviving besides her husband Duane are a daughter Paula K. Straka of Shelby, Ohio; three sons, Keevan Cole of Ann Arbor, Dennis (Deidre) Cole of Bryan, Ohio and Richard Cole of Auburn, Indiana; two sisters, Linda Lewinski of Santa Ana, California, Carol (Tim) Kasten of Toledo, Ohio; five brothers, Mike Lewinski of Auburn, Indiana, John (Linda) Lewinski , Chris (Charlene) Lewinski, Jeff Lewinski all of Toledo, Ohio, and Edward (Joanne) Lewinski of Oregon, Ohio; six grandchildren, Mason, Jenna, Sara, Brandon, Brent and Spencer.
Funeral services for Kathleen Cole will be Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale with Father Denis R. Spitzley officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Hillsdale, The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Greater Hillsdale Humane Society of Hospice of Hillsdale County.
