Mr. O'Brien was born June 5, 1910, at Sturgis, S.D. He came to Sioux City in 1917 and worked as a press operator for Flasco Manufacturing Co.. He married Margaret Brummond May 14, 1945, at Luverne, Minn.
Survivors include the widow and sister, Mrs. Amy Heath of Yankton, S.D.
The body was taken to Ruthledge Funeral Home. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery, Sioux City.
