The funeral for Mildred S. (Timm) Koenig, 91, of Council Bluffs will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home with the Rev. David Erickson of First Christian Church Officiating.
Mrs. Koenig died Feb. 9 at Indian Hills Nursing Home.
She was born April 18, 1911, in McClelland to Pete and Anna (Boege) Timm. She lived all of her life in Council Bluffs and the Bentley area. She was a homemaker and farmer. She was a member of Underwood Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Koenig was preceded in death by her husband, Wilhelm, in 1975.
Survivors include one daughter, Virginia Walsh, of Davenport; four sons, Stan and wife, Joyce, of Council Bluffs, Bill and wife, Shirley, of Underwood, John of Council Bluffs and George of Omaha; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at Eagles Club, 1530 Ave. F.
Memorials may be offered to the Veterans Memorial in Bayliss Park in honor of her late husband, a World War I Veteran, and her four sons, all veterans.
