Daughter of John A Minkler (1798-1839) and Anna (Hannah) Rohrbach Minkler. She was sister to: Maria Minkler Rifenburgh (1819-1900), Uriah Ranselar Minkler (1821 – 1881), Emma Minkler Coon (1824 – 1902), Catherine (Katie) Minkler Ellsworth (1830 – 1885) and Elenor Minkler (1832 – 1834). Elizabeth was the first wife of Henry H Moore. They were married in the Lutheran Church at Manorton, Columbia Co. New York on June 17, 1837. They had 9 children, Ada Moore (1837-?) (who through records appeared to have been born mentally challenged and was residing at Hudson River Asylum under the documentation of Census of Idiots), John B. Moore (1839-1898), Alice Moore Marshall (1841-1872), Hannah E Moore Simmons (1842-1921), Peter R Moore (1844-1893), Edward Moore (1847-?), Mary Moore (1849-?), Susan Moore Shultis (1852-1927) and F Moore female (1854-?). Through the Town Clerks documentation of the Tivoli's Civil War Veterans, for Peter Rensaler Moore, her second son, it is noted that Elizabeth's maiden name was Minkler.
