DML Peacock and Sarah Rebecca Hogue (1844-Abt 1820)were married Jan 20, 1868 (some records have 30 Jan 1868)in Miller County, or Lafayette County, Arkansas. She was born 1844 in Pauldin Co., GA.

Biography and sources for my research:

This couple were known as "Fate" and "Sally", and were living in the home of their son, John who married Stella Glass at the time of DML's death in 1917, Cleburne, Tx. 209 N. Granbury St., Cleburne, Tx. He was 78. Sally was living with her daughter, Mollie Bratcher at the time of her death. She was 76. DML Peacock was a farmer, veteran of the Civil War, and a member of the Church of Christ. Civil War: Company D, 4th Ar. Inf. (McNary's Brigade) Pension Records on file. He enlisted in Co. D 4th Arkansas Regiment in 1861 and served until end of war. Affidavit signed by J.E. Peacock and J.M.Anderson. D.L. owned 1 horse $40, 1 horse $20, 1 buggy $40 on application. Birds of a Feather pages 13-14 show this family. Father was Alfred Peacock of Barnwell Co.,SC.
J. E. Peacock is the brother of DML (John Erwin Peacock) of DML, and John Monroe Anderson is John Erwin Peacock's father-in-law.
A NOTE ABOUT THE DAUGHTER LISTED AS JACOB Madelin, BELOW: HER REAL NAME WAS MATTIE MAE, SHE MAY HAVE CHANGED HER NAME. CENSUS RECORDS HAVE HER AS JACOB AND MAE.
