James William Cain, 88 of Metz, WV passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born January 19, 1924 at Smithfield, WV, a son of the late Jacon Cain and Minnie Price Cain.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Wright Cain of Metz, whom he married on September 14, 1946, having enjoyed 66 years of marriage. He is also survived two daughters, Mrs. Dale "Joann" Kuhn of Metz and Mrs. Fred "Shirley" Farrell of Lorain, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Brian and Cindy Kuhn, Shaun and Tamara Kuhn of Littleton, Glendon Kuhn of Metz, Renita Kuhn and significant other, Mike Lee, Mike Farrell, Calvin Farrell, Jennifer and Enar Ortiz; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces, Bernice Metz of Flat Run and Violet McDonald of Metz; special friends, Jim and Paula Simons of Metz.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by one son, James Ray Cain and one sister, Leota Ice.
James was a protestant by faith. He enjoyed his two dogs, Paulie and Muffin. He was a World War II United States Navy Veteran. He also enjoyed traveling through out the country side.
