Obituary - The Scranton Times
Sharon A. Jacobs, 913 Pittston Ave., died Thursday morning at Community Medical Center after an illness. She was the wife of Travis Jacobs.
Born Dec. 7, 1947, in Dunmore, daughter of Marie Flatley and the late John Flatley, she was a graduate of Kutztown University. After working for many years at Giant Markets and Harper and Row Publishing, she spent the last several years concentrating on being a loving housewife, beloved daughter and a very avid reader.
Also surviving are a son, Shane A. Sands, Hazleton, and several cousins and their families.
In accordance with Sharon's wishes, interment will be in Cathedral Cemetary at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Auer Memorial Home and Cremation Services Inc., Harrisburg.

Sharon and I worked together for several years at Haddon Craftsmen Inc., in Dunmore. R.R. Donnelly bought the business and subsequently closed it. She didn't drive a car but drove a "cherry-picker" forklift at work. We had a lot of good times together and I will truly miss her.
