Mrs. Ruby Myrtle Booth, 79, died Saturday afternoon (Jan. 3, 2003) at White House Personal Care after an extended illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Meigs and Albany, GA. She has lived the past two years in Waycross (Ware Co, GA). She was a retired cataloger with the United States Marine Corp. Logistics in Albany. She was a member of Meigs United Methodist Church.
She is the daughter of the late William Roberts and Ruby Law Roberts. She is the wife of the late Frank Booth. She is also preceded in death by her son, William Shelton Booth.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Booth of Iron City, and Donald Wayne (wife Laura) of Atlanta; four grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Maderia Roberts of Meigs; three nieces and several special friends.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday (Jan. 9, 2003) at White House Personal Care.
Memorialization is by cremation.
