Cole Michael Altringer, 17, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003 in a Minot medical center.
Cole was born January 2, 1986 in Minot, ND, the son of Jay and Dyanne (Semmen) Altringer. He was reared and educated in Minot and just completed his junior year at Magic City Campus. In his younger days he was very active in swimming, soccer, basketball, wrestling and baseball. Cole was a very active outdoor person who loved hunting and fishing with his brother, his dad, his uncle and his many close schoolmates. Cole's love for the outdoors was so great that you always knew where he would be after school and on weekends if he wasn't in a soccer tournament.
Cole's life was touched by all of his friends whom he loved and was loved by them. Because of his desire to always help others, his organs were donated and now thanks to Cole, many other people will be able to live normal lives.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Altringer; and his grandfather, Carl Semmen.
