Bartee, Louessa, died 16 Aug 1913, age 43 yrs, 4 mo 16 days, Died in Childbirth. Born 25 Mar 1870. Father: John Hyler (born Huston, TX). Mother: Mary Johnson (born Texas). married white fem ale. Informant. W. J. Bartee, Mangum RFD 3. Dr Nay Neel, Mangum. burial Riverside 23 Aug 1913. Undertaker, T. R. Tims, Mangum.

Daughter of John Kyle and Mary Johnson. Houston County, Texas marriage records show marriage to W J Bartee was on July 13, 1887.

Louise Kyle was born March 25th, 1870 near Houston, Texas. She professed religion and joined the Methodist church at the age of 31 years. She was married to W J Bartee on July 6, 1887, and was the mother of ten children, two of whom preceded her to the Heavenly Home. She was a true, faithful wife and a kind and affectionate mother. She told her loved ones that she was prepared to meet her God in peace, having lived a faithful, consistent Christian life.

She died Sunday morning August 17 and we laid the lady away on the 18th in the Jester Cemetery amid a large concourse of friends.

Louisa Kyle Bartee was the daughter of John Henry and Mary Ann Johnson Kyle. She was born in Davis, Murray County, Oklahoma, and married William James Bartee on July 13, 1887, in Houston County, Texas. Her grandparents were James Henry and Louisa Spencer Kyle who are buried in Houston County, Texas.
