Tailor Emily Chaney‚ 6, of Naylor passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006 in Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fla. of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on Nov. 1, 1999 in Lowndes County and had lived in Naylor all of her life. She had several nick names Pretty Girl, Tater Bug and Tay-Tay. Tailor was a kindergartner at Lanier County Elementary School her teachers were Mrs. Oliver and Mrs. McCrae. She was an active little girl who loved playing of T-Ball, being a cheerleader, going to work with her papa David, listening to Alan Jackson and eating Chicken Bits.

Bolling, Lakeland, Betty (Nana) Parrish, Lakeland, Joe B. and Ellen Chaney, Naylor; paternal grandparents Allen Spikes (Papa Bear) and Schyla Spikes, Lakeland; paternal great-grandparent, Bill Moore, Naylor; uncles, David (Little Man) Chaney, Naylor, Denny Ray Chaney, Naylor, Cory Spikes, Lakeland, Daniel Spikes, Lakeland, Jonathan Moore, Valdosta; favorite aunt and uncle, Cory and Bridget Spikes, Lakeland; favorite first cousin, Koby Ray Chaney, Naylor, best friend forever, Brianna and Ben Corbitt; special papa, Leon Sirmans, Lakeland; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006 in Southside Baptist Church with burial following in Naylor Holiness Church Cemetery
