Johnny H. King, 71, of Mayland, passed away April 16, 2013, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends today, April 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with burial in Mayland Cemetery. Pastor Mike Kerley will officiate.
Johnny was born April 18, 1941, in Overton County, to Walter and Minnie Pryor King. He enjoyed gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents; spouse, Katie Jane Miller King; brothers, Gene, Leamon, Ray, Rue and Dallas King; sisters, Dolly King, Christine Hendrick, Pauline King and Edna Wightman.
Pallbearers will be Berry Smith, Darrell Strader, Steve Phillips, Ron Graham, Joie Morgan and Micha Morgan.
