Motion Picture Director. In 1966 he decided to travel to Europe and settled in Rome, where he began his career as a screenwriter with director Maurizio Ponzi in "The visionary". In 1970 he was called by the director Bernardo Bertolucci to write the script for "The Spider's Stratagem" based on a story by Jorge Luis Borges. Years later based in Paris, he wrote the script for the films "Celine et Julie vont en bateau" (1974) and "Duelle" (1976). In 1976, he released his first film "Sérail", which was followed by "La Memoire Courte" (1979), and Aspern (1985). He also directed the co-production "Lost Bodies" in 1989 and "Tangos voles" in 2002. He was also Cathedratic at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University-Paris III. (bio by: Errete)
