Mr. and Mrs. Lee Collins, LaPorte, were the attendants. Mrs. Collins wore a black suit, pink carnation headdress and carried a bouquet of pink carnations.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held for 200 guests. Mrs. Clarence Cox poured and Mrs. Walter Tague, Indianapolis, aunt of the bride, served the wedding cake.
The bride's mother wore a blue dress and the groom's mother wore a rose-beige suit. Both had white mum corsages.
The bride graduated with the class of 1947 from Chesterton high school. The groom is now employed at Inland Steel Co. at Indiana Harbor. After a short honeymoon trip, the couple will live at 215 N. Calumet Road.
