Vervilla Farmer Dies Suddenly
Isaac Haywood Turner, 69-year-old farmer, died unexpectedly at his home at Vervilla Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. His death resulted from a heart attack. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at Morrison Church of Christ. The minister, Stanley J. A. McInery, officiated and burial was in Vervilla cemetery. A native of Warren county, Mr. Turner was born December 26, 1882. He was a son of I.H. Turner and wife and was married to Miss Octa Pearl Crouch. She survives. Mr. Turner was a member of the Church of Christ and had operated a farm in the Vervilla community for a number of years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Oscar Earl Turner, Floyd Turner and J.T. Turner, Morrison, and Brown Turner, Lewisburg; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Lee Renfro, Nashville, and Mrs. Denzel Cotton, Lewisburg. Also a half-brother, G.H. Turner McMinnville. High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
