Adam Cherry died Saturday afternoon at his home, 102 Arch Street, after a lingering illness. He formerly conducted a barber shop on Brown Street.
The funeral will be held from the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 with burial in City Cemetery.
Surviving are his mother and these brothers and sisters, Anna and Anthony Cherry, at home; Mrs. Catherine Norton and Mrs. Emma Jones, Wilkes-Barre; Fred Cherry of Perry Point, Md., and Mrs. Mary Raider of New Jersey City.
