(born 1 Mar. 1726/27, son of John Abbott, married 11 May 1724, Eunice Judd, grandson of John Abbott, died about 1720, married Ruth Betts, & John Judd, 1667-1710, married Rachel, died 1717, great-grandson of Sergt. George Abbott, died 1689/90, & Thomas Betts, married Mary, & Sergt. William Judd, 1635-1690, married Mary Steele, 1638-1718, great-great-grandson of Deacon Thomas Judd, 1608-1688, & John Steele, died 1665, married Rachel, died 1653. Served in the Revolution, Conn. Rolls, pp. 19, 48, 54, 183, 538).

m. John Abbott, Jr., b. Mar. 1, 1726-7;
d. Jan. 6, 1804, ae., 76; will probated in 1805; the son of
John and Eunice (Judd) Abbott. Eunice was dau. of John
Judd, of Farmington.

DEATH DATE CORRECTION: Both Family Search (the 1st of two entries) and the Norwalk Historical Society quote John's death as occurring in June of 1804. The photo of the gravestone looks more like Jan. than Jun.. AND, using the number of years and months leads to January as the obvious choice. Verification is also found in "The St John Genealogy", see above.
