Dana Chellis, Air Force Veteran, 43
BENNINGTON - Dana Chellis, 43, a U.S. Air Force Veteran died Thursday at the home of his mother, Mrs. Fannie W. Chellis, 124 Lincoln St., Bennington.
Mr. Chellis was born in Concord, N.H., and was educated in Bennington schools. He served in the Air Force from 1954 through 1957.
A former employee at Ben-Mont Papers in Bennington, he was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose.
Survivors besides his mother, include three sons, Dana, Joseph and Brian all of Bennington; four daughters, Sandra, Aubrey and Victoria Chellis, all of Bennington, and Mrs. Gloria Culver of Cambridge; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today at 10 am from the Mahar and Son Funeral Home, 628 Main St., Bennington, where Rev. Richard D. Campbell, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Bennington will officiate.
Interment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington.
