Willie M. Agee, son of John and Martha A. Agee was born January 16, 1876, departed this life August 16, 1941 at the age of 65 years, 7 months. He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, a daughter, Mrs. J. A. Connor of Brookfield, a son, Marple Agee of Hurdland; two grandchildren, one sister, Mrs.L P. Atteberry of Elmer and a host of friends.
He was a Past Master of the A. F. & A. M. of Elmer and a Past Patron of the O.E.S. of Elmer, also an honorary member of the I.O.O.F. of Elmer. For many years he served as Superintendent and Teacher in the Baptist Sunday School.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Elmer Baptist Church by Rev. Rhinehart of Bevier, followed by services by the Elmer Masonic Lodge. Flower bearers were members of the O.E.S. of Elmer. He was laid to rest in the Elmer Cemetery.

The beautiful floral tribute displayed in addition to the large crowd was a silent token of the high esteem in which he was held.
