I decided to make a memorial for Brianna when I came across her obituary online. Although I didn't know her, reading all of these wonderful things about Brianna, made me wish I knew her.
Below is Brianna's obituary:
"Brianna Lee Paul,- 20, of Campton, New Hampshire and formerly of North Reading, Massachusetts, died suddenly on January 25, 2009. Born in Melrose, Massachusetts on August 10, 1988, Brianna was the beloved daughter of David and Melinda (Flanders) Paul of Campton, New Hampshire. Her two sisters, Erin and Eden, were her best friends.
Brianna was often described by those who knew her as "one of a kind". She took over a room when she entered. She had the ability to make people laugh, at her and at themselves. She had a diverse set of interests including animals, photography, travel, cooking, singing, music, politics and world events. When she found an area of interest she would study it intensely. When she was ten years old she memorized over 100 breeds of dogs by sight. Later, when she found out she was travelling to Germany, she taught herself the language and was able to fully converse in it by the end of her trip. She could play music by ear often entertaining her sisters by playing requests on her keyboard. She could get a crowd up and dancing in a matter of minutes. She was fiercely loyal to her friends and family was the best confidant a friend could have. She had many friends at Burlington College in Vermont. She also did hilarious impressions of family members and friends with the best being her Grandmother.
She was adored by her mother, father, sisters and relatives. She could relate equally as well to her younger cousins as to her grandparents. She developed many friendships through her time at the Hood School in North Reading, the Waldorf School in Lexington, the Thornton Central School and Plymouth Regional High School in New Hampshire. She had recently enrolled in Lakes Region Community College. She loved and was loved by her boyfriend Shane Wright and his parents.
Who wouldn't want to know such an amazing person? It was requested by Brianna's family thatr instead of sending flowers, friends and family make donations to the ASPCA. Even in death, Brianna still gives.
I have been contacted by Brianna's mother, who told me that she stumbled across Brianna's page and she was so happy to see her beautiful daughter's memorial page. Of course, she misses Brianna so much. She told me that Brianna passed as the result of an undiagnosed heart arrhythmia.
**On behalf of Brianna and myself, I would like to thank SUZYSGHOST for sponsoring Brianna's page. She's been dedicated to leaving so many notes for her. I've been lucky enough to exchange messages with SUZYSGHOST and she's lovely. I have a feeling Brianna would like her very much and I'm sure she watches over her.**
