His wife was "Nora Barton", his oldest sister, Emily May Barton Hathhorn and her husband James had been living near Metolius. The first two children of Emily & James were born there. Perhaps Bob purchased the Hathhorn homestead when they moved to Hood River. He cannot be located in any census records.
