Charlene Curd Burrus, 79, Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2006.
She was a native of Bowling Green, Kentucky. She attended One Way Apostolic Church, where her brother-in-law, the Late Elder Thomas Gooch was the pastor.
A graduate of Harry Wood School of Nursing, she was employed by Veterans Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 30 years.
On Tuesday, May 2, 2006 there will be a public visitation from 12 - 1 p.m., with services following at 1:00 p.m. at the Christ Temple Apostolic Church. Interment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Benjamin O. Burrus; three sons: Benjamin O., III, Mark W. and Kevin C. Burrus; three daughters: Gail Martin, Marva Y. Bailey-Herrera, and Indria Suzanne Gaither; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters Roger Lee Williams and Virginia Terrell.
Final arrangements entrusted to Stuart Mortuary.
