JEFFREY "JEFF" ROBERT BULTEMEIER, 58, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013. Born April 17, 1955, he was a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne. Jeff worked for Avery-Dennison for 28 years. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Jeff was an avid Cubs fan and his final resting place bears tribute to the team he dearly loved. He struggled with depression for many years, but now rests in peace. Survivors include his sisters, Judi Thompson of Winnetka, Calif. and Cindy (Mike) Macolini of Baton Rouge, La. He also leaves behind two very special friends, Greg Geary and Fawn Stabler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Martin Bultemeier and Susanna (Crumrine) Bultemeier. Graveside service is 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Concordia Cemetery Gardens, 5300 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to a suicide prevention organization or the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Food Bank. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Wayne.

The Allen County Coroner's Office has positively identified the body of a man was pulled from the St. Joseph River on Sunday.

The body of 58-year-old Jeffery Bultemeier was found at 10:50 a.m. Sunday by Department of Natural Resources conservation office Randy Clear. While the cause of Bultemeier's death, drowning, has been released, the manner has not.

The case remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, and the Allen County Coroner's Office.
