Halia D Austin parents are William Lawson FLOYD and Mahala (Halia) DOLLAHITE. Her mother Halia DOLLAHITE FLOYD died 23 October 1907 and is buried in the Scobey Cemetery, Yalabusha County, Mississippi. Halia went to live with her maternal grandmother, Sarah Ann JOHNSON DOLLAHITE and appears with her on the 1910 and 1920 census for Yalabusha county, Mississippi. I believe her father died in 1955 but can find no record of his death or where he is buried.
