Charles C Davis was the son of Eliphas Davis. Charlie married Cynthia Shaver and had: Lourania, Abijah, Eliphas, Loucinda and Mathias. Mathias was my great great grandfather. History has it that Charlie C Davis is buried in Cain Hill Davis Cemetery.

DAVIS moved to Wright Co Mo in 1850, near what later became Seymour Webster Co MO;
Cynthia's brother was John Shaver, his son "Preacher Will" Shaver also brought his family to what is now southern Webster Co Mo area; see 1850 Wright Co MO #254;
