Born about 1624 (aged 11 in 1635). Married (1) by about 1634, Mary ____ (eldest child died in Weymouthy 4 Aug 1737 "in his 84th year;" Married (2) Mary Porter 2 Dec 1658 in Weymouth MA. Died Jan 1678/9. Their child: Thomas Bicknell.
Various secondary sources make claims about this family which are not supported by the evidence. For example, the 1st wife of John Bicknell, son of the immigrant is sometimes said to be a daughter of Abraham Shaw, but again, no evidence for this is seen.
