She leaves behind her parents, Francis T and Helen L (Ryan) Bergin, her siblings Terry, Francis T Jr., Kathleen, Helen, Joan, Virginia, Eleanor, Regina, and Susan.
Ms. Bergin was born in Waltham. She graduated from Newton Catholic High School and Bridgewater State College. She was a special education teach er in Waltham from 1978 until 1982, when she became a teacher in the Denver school system.
