Marie O. Harry, 64, of Delano St., Mt. Vernon, died unexpectedly on May 11, 1990 in Knox Community Hospital.
Mrs. Harry was born on Sep.18, 1925 in Clay county West Virginia to George and Esther (Buckland) Dennison and had been a Mount Vernon resident for over 30 years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of nearly 40 years, Edwin P. Harry Sr.; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Karen) Durbin of Mount Vernon; three sons, Edwin P. Harry Jr. of Centerburg, Richard L. Harry and David A. Harry, both of Mount Vernon; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Loraine (Lucille) Allen of Lower City and Margaret Dennison of Quaker City; and a brother, William B. Dennison of Quaker City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Princie Dennison.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in Dowds-Wiggins-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road. The funeral will be held on Monday at 1 pm in the funeral home with the Rev. Merlyn Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
