Harold, a son born to Frank Delbert Partridge and Lydia Elmira Somsel, had three sisters, Lillian Ruth (Kalmbacher), Ruby Lucille (White) and Daisy Esther (Hawk); and one brother, Paul Eugene.

He married Opal Marie Holloway, 16 May 1936, in Rochester, IN. They had two daughters, Patricia Sue (Thompson) and Bonita Kay (Nickell). Harold and Opal farmed east of Rochester, IN

Harold E. PARTRIDGE, 61, R.R. 5, Rochester, died of an apparent heart attack unexpectedly at 1:30 p.m. Sunday (April 13, 1975) at his residence. He was born Sept. 17, 1913 in Forrest, Ind. to Frank and Lydia SOMSEL PARTRIDGE. His marriage was May 16, 1936 to Opal HOLLOWAY. She survives. His occupation was farming and he was a member of the First Baptist church.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Phillip (Patricia) THOMPSON, Rochester; Mrs. Cecil (Bonita) NICKELL, Manhattan, Kans.; five grandsons, Brent, Barry and Brad THOMPSON, all of Rochester, and Andrew and David NICKELL, of Manhattan, Kans.; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth KALMBACHER, Kokomo; Mrs. Ruby WHITE, South Bend; Mrs. Esther HAWK, Rochester; one brother, Paul PARTRIDGE, Rochester.
Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Foster & Good funeral home. The Rev. Donald MAUGHAN will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
