Dale A Deszell, 12, son of Leo Deszell of 843 Substation Rd. Temperance, , was killed Sunday when he ran into the path auto on Summit Street near Baycreek Road in Erie.
Police from the Erie Post of the Michigan State police said they youth ran across the street about 7:50 PM and was struck by a north bound auto of Wayne DeLisle, 35 of 535 E. Sterns Rd, Temperance.
Dr. Walter Meir , Monroe County Medical Examiner pronounced the youth dead at the scene. No citations were issued.
The body is in the Bedford Chapel.
12 year old son of Leo Deszell and Clara Burgard Deszell who died after being hit by a car on Summit Street in Erie, Michigan.
His Mother had died in 1967 shortly after giving
birth to his sister, Pamela in 1967
Sadly, Dale's 5 year old sister, Pamela died on June 17, 1972 after being hit by a car.
