Milton David Anderhalten was born on November 10, 1924, at Hamilton, seat of Butler County, Ohio, to John Anderhalten (1898-1974) and Hester (Walton) Anderhalten (1902-1985) who, besides Milton David, raised two daughters, Norma Louise Anderhalten (1922–1923) who died in infancy, and Wilma Jean Anderhalten. During World War II, PFC Milton David Anderhalten served ub Company "K" of the 104th Regiment of U. S. Infantry in the U. S. Army. At the age of twentgy-two, Milton David died in combat against the German Wehrmacht at Dieuze, Département de la Moselle, in Lorraine, France. More than three years after the end of World War II in Europe, PFC Milton David Anderhalten's body was returned to the United States and interred on August 23, 1948, in his hometown of Hamilton, Ohio, at Greenwood Cemetery in Section Y, Lot 20, Grave 03. Bruce Morton Garver wrote the above "bio" on April 17, 2021, after having attached the following document to PFC Milton David Anderhalten's Memorial.
