1788 - In 1788, the Indians stole his father's horse, hogs, and made away across the Altamaha River. (McIntosh Co., GA)
About 1822 Leonard's father, Leonard Harper, Sr., died and Leonard moved to Florida; but, moved back to GA within three or four years. He settled near the present town of Lax, Irwin Co., GA.
1830 - Aug.12,1845 - Leonard lived in Irwin Co. until his death on Aug. 12,1845. His estate was probated in January 1846, in the Court of Ordinary, Irwin Co., GA.
