Lee was born on October 9, 1927 in Conroe, TX. He passed away on September 11, 2010 in Shreveport. Lee proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Grace Point Nazarene Church.
Lee was preceded in death by parents, Herbert Leo Day, Sr. and Bertha Hayes Day; late wife of 46 years, Clydia Tarver Day; and daughter, Cynthia Day Neely. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 10 years, Charlene Joy Day; daughters, Sandra Lee Day, Cheryl Day Fletcher and husband, William, and Michelle Day Haley; son, Lee E. Day and wife, Lori; son-in-law, Richard Hunter Neely; step sons, David and Jeffrey Taylor and their wives; 8 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; sister, Patricia Davis; brother, Tom Day. Pallbearers will be Lee E. Day, Chris Vaught, Jeffrey Taylor, Wesley E. Day, David Taylor, and Joseph Chesson.
