Dorothy Lucille Connor, 96, of Meridian, Idaho passed away August 1, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, August 6, 2012 at Cloverdale Funeral Home, with Military burial concluding at Cloverdale Memorial Park, Boise, Idaho.
Lucille was born February 12, 1916 in Chapin, Illinois to Walter Herman and Mary Idella (Brockhouse) Nergenah. She graduated from Charles F. French Community High School, May 29, 1936.
Lucille then attended Our Saviour's Hospital School of Nursing, graduating September 28, 1939. She was a member of the Army Nursing Corp from October 1, 1943 to July 28, 1950 and was honorably discharged as a Captain. Lucille was married to William Anthony Connor.
Lucille was a loving mother and wife and enjoyed oil painting, embroidery, and raising her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Carol Connor, Kathy and Larry Conroy, and Bill and Robin Connor; her grandchildren, Corey and Abbie Conroy, Michael and Laurie Conroy, Colleen Conroy, Christopher and Joy Connor, Matthew and Jennifer Connor, and Andrew and Jamie Connor; and her six great-grandchildren, Karena, Logan, Kaden, McKae, Mariah and Keira.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Anthony Connor in May 1986.
