Nassau County
New York, USA
Death: unknown

Married Jan. 6, 1842 Robert Titus 1813-1885 at Christ's Presbyterian Church in South Hempstead, Queens Co. (now Nassau Co.) L.I., NY. He was the son of George P. Titus 1776-1842 and Mary Carle of Long Island, NY. Grandson of Peter Titus 1739-1832 & Elizabeth Mudge of Queens Co., L.I., NY.

Robert & Mary (Hopkins) Titus had twins George P. Titus & Anna H. Titus Jan. 15, 1843. Twins are a very common trait in this Hopkins line which includes RI Gov. Stephen Hopkins 1707-1785, signer of the Declaration of Independence.

A Mary A. Titus of Old Westbury, Queens Co., NY is listed as an heir of Silas Hopkins in his will dated 1878 and contested in 1880. If this is the same person as Mary W. Titus, she died after 1880.
