8 Oct 1980: Mrs. Grace W. Foutch, 86, of 541 Black Ave., died 2:40 a.m. Tuesday at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. She was born in Springfield and was the daughter of Alfred Saxon and Mary Ann Palmer Wormood. Mrs. Foutch, a member of Central Baptist Church, retired from the state Department of Law Enforcement in 1960. Her husband, Mark R. Foutch, died in 1930. Surviving are two sons, Dr. Mark R. Foutch of Champaign, Edward Lewis Foutch of Dallas, TX; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Mary) Wagoner of Springfield; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel, Dr. Roger Compton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. [State Journal Register]
