The body of Charles F. Davis, of this city, was brought here this morning from Atlanta where he died yesterday and the funeral was held this afternoon. Mr. David had been ill for some weeks and was taken to Atlanta about a week ago for treatment, which proved unavailing.
He was a native of Thomasville, and about 46 years old. He was unmarried and is survived by four sisters, Mrs. M.L. Lively and Miss Irene Davis of Atlanta; Mrs G.B. Baggs, of Camilla, and Mrs. Taylor Mitchell, of this city. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. W.M. Harris, of the Baptist Church.-
