"Services for Mrs. Alcus (Lois) Boone, Sr. of 536 W. Chippewa St. are at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, at the Hartman-Henderson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Rev. Sale Lilly will be conducting the services. Visitation begins today at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Boone, 92, died January 15, 1990, at King's Daughters Hospital. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alcus Boone, Sr. who died October 11, 1987.
She is survived by one son, Alcus Boone, Jr. of Brookhaven; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Marguerite) Cohen of Brookhaven; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Jones of Tucker, Ga; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren."
